Problem
Ordering local print on the Costa Blanca usually means phoning around, waiting for a quote and hoping your file is right. Prices are nowhere online, and anyone who doesn’t speak Spanish drops out halfway. I wanted a print shop where you see the price straight away and the order is done in a few minutes, in your own language.
Solution
Denia Print: a static Astro site backed by Cloudflare Pages Functions. Each of the 77 products has a calculator with an instant price and a delivery date with a countdown. You can design online in an editor set to the right size, or upload your own file, which is checked automatically for bleed and resolution. Orders land in a custom dashboard with a kanban board, proofs, template emails and margins per order, and go on to the printer with one click. Customers follow their order on a status page, approve the proof there and reorder from their account. Sign-in uses passkeys or an emailed code, no passwords.
Outcome
Live at deniaprint.es in five languages (ES, EN, NL, DE, FR), with 77 products priced online, an extended catalogue of over 2,800 items and landing pages for 20 towns in the Marina Alta. The whole chain from calculator to delivery runs without manual work, covered by 44 test files.
